Around 50 people are reported to have died after a teenage suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in north-eastern Nigeria on Tuesday morning.
The teenage bomber detonated his explosives as he mingled with people as they arrived for morning prayers.
Suspicion has fallen on jihadist group Boko Haram even though nobody had claimed responsibility at time of going to press.
The group, based in neighbouring Borno state, has carried out numerous similar suicide attacks in north-eastern Nigeria in recent years.
