Reading Time: < 1 minute

In the only Absa premiership encounter played on Wednesday night, Baroka FC had a goalless draw against Free State Stars at Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane.

Baroka have now moved from second position from bottom of the log to 13th position which is fourth from bottom.

Club coach Wedson Nyerenda says his side will move to a better position.

“I think we have shown the character but I know something is coming and it will get better.

Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael says he’s happy to get their first point away.

He says is difficult to play four games in ten days with two in Polokwane.

“It is better to have one point than nothing. I have to congratulate my players because they played four games in ten days and two travels to Polokwane. We have to fight hard to reach our target of 20, 21 to 23 points at the half point of season, like we did last season.”
