South Africa and Cameroon will meet in the Cosafa Women’s Championship final in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Defending champions Banyana Banyana booked their place after beating Uganda by two goals to nil, while Cameroon emerged as 1-0 winners over Zambia at Wolfson Stadium.

However, South Africa’s Coach Desiree Ellis is not happy with her side performance. She believed they could have done better.

“We were not at best today. We gave away a lot of unnecessary possession. We wasted a lot of opportunities. We made the wrong decisions when we had many players in good positions. But we knew this was a semifinal. It will get to the players’ minds. We tried to keep them cool.”

Meanwhile, Uganda Coach Faridah Bulega says she is proud of her team though they were beaten.

“One of objectives was to come out of the groups to test ourselves against teams like South Africa. For us, we have achieved. South Africa is a big team compared us.
