ATM confident ahead of elections

African Transformation Movement (ATM) Secretary-General, Thandisizwe Khukula, says the party is confident that it will garner enough votes to give them control of Parliament and all provinces in the upcoming national general elections.

He was speaking at a rally of the party in Kimberley. Khukula says the party’s relative newcomer status on the political scene will not affect its ability to gather votes.

“One would think that because the ATM is a new political party only registered in June, so you would think that this party won’t make an impact. We must tell you that we are totally different from other political parties because we are not confined to a particular corner of the country. Right from the start in September 2018, we started a programme of launching our organisation in all provinces,” says Khukula.
