After the recent church videos that have caused outrage in the country, people have now become confused on whether South Africans are able to clear the line between religion and scams.

Just right after the two videos on social media of two girls in their 20’s being beaten up a new one has surfaced where a preacher tells the congregation to take of their panties and wave.

The congregation obliged and went on to do so.

Chairperson for the promotion of the rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities Thoko Mkhwanazi Xaluva says that the commission is working on how to handle such issues.

“The bible of South Africa is the constitution. Whatever religion you have whatever culture you have should be in line with the constitution. The minute your religion violates the constitution then you need to transform your religion to be in line with the constitution,” says Mkhwanazi.
