The African National Congress’ Moses Mabhida Regional Conference in KwaZulu-Natal, which was due to be held this weekend, has been halted by legal battles between two factions.
The conference was to have started on Saturday morning. However, a group of aggrieved members then approached the court, interdicting the conference.
They cited a court order that halted last week’s provincial conference. One third of branches also went to court to seek an order for the conference to proceed, but later withdrew their application. Click below for more on the story:
