Judgment in the bail application of former ANC employee, Errol Velile Present and three others will resume at the Roodepoort magistrate court west of Johannesburg on Friday.

They are accused of being involved in a heist that took place in Soweto early in July. It’s alleged that the accused made off with a-quarter of a million rand.

On Tuesday the group brought an application for the disclosure of dockets to prepare for their bail application defence.

They face a Schedule 6 offence – and must provide exceptional circumstances why they should be released on bail. They are charged with attempted murder, assault with aggravated circumstances and possession of stolen motor vehicles.
