ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says the party’s election manifesto for the 2019 polls will work towards reuniting the South African public with the ruling party.

Ramaphosa is launching the provincial manifesto for the ANC in the Northern Cape at the Galeshewe Stadium.

He says the ANC is working very hard to reconnect with the people.

He acknowledged that unemployment is a key issue in the country and says the ANC has made it a focus area.

“We know that one of the big challenges is that many of our people are not working. We have made unemployment a key area of focus and it is for that reason that we have been mobilising investment to come to our country, both local investors as well as offshore investors. They need to come here and open up factories, open up mines and open up a number of other businesses so that we can create jobs,” says Ramaphosa.
