African National Congress Secretary-General Ace Magashule says the ruling party’s national leadership will do its best to ensure that there is unity, cohesion and renewal in the North West.
Magashule and other ANC national working committee members are in the province to address internal tensions caused by some members who are apparently demanding the recall of Premier Supra Mahumapelo.
“We see all these challenges in the province and we want to make sure that there is unity and renewal across the board in our structures. We are here to ensure that the structures of the ANC work together, we will achieve it, it’s a matter of time. So we are appealing for calm amongst our structures until we resolve whatever challenges and issues.”
