The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation has welcomed the State of the Nation Address by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The foundation says the general tone of the speech was great but it must be followed by action.
It has also called on President Ramaphosa to restore dignity and decorum of the House.
We believe that he has delivered on this,” said The Foundation’s Executive Director, Neeshan Balton says the SONA was refreshing.
“It has been a refreshing change to have a SONA without walkouts, without security personnel removing members, without signal jamming and most importantly, without a president whose words, especially about tackling corruption, rang hollow.”
