The Hawks in North West says documents seized at the offices of the North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo, will enable them to successfully investigate allegations of fraud and corruption at different departments within the provincial government.
The Hawks raided the offices following the ongoing alleged irregularities regarding an ICT company which has been allegedly given tenders.
Hawks spokesperson Tlangelani Rikhotso says: “We are looking at the allegation of fraud and corruption; just to say that we have been through different departments within the building, where we are seizing documents and we have found the documents, we will communicate with the media when we are ready about this matter at this stage is quiet delicate, so we cannot divulge further information”
The office of the North West Premeir will brief the media Thursday afternoon following a raid by the Hawks at the offices.
