Gauteng Co-operative Governance and Human Settlements MEC Uhuru Moiloa will be visiting Eersterust in the east of Pretoria on Sunday.
This follows the spate of violent service delivery protests in the area this week.
Moiloa will also visit the family of a man who is said to have died after inhaling teargas.
He will also conduct a site visit to nearby flats.
Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) spokesperson Mokgomotsi Mogodiri says, “The purpose of the visit is to understand better the issues that have led to the protest in the area. He will be engaging with all the stakeholders so that everyone must be taken on board and make sure a solution is found to the issues that have arisen.”
