SIU urges public to report corruption

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has called on members of the public to report all acts they perceive as corruption.

The unit and other law enforcement agencies addressed journalists during a pre-launch workshop of Operation Fiela Two in Pretoria.

Operation Fiela Two will also be addressing South Africans safety and security concerns.

The SIU’s Nazrim Pandor they are working hard to fight corruption.

“The mandate of the Special Investigating Unit is to investigate corruption, maladministration that are practiced in state owned institutions. Our role really is to support this initiative. To ensure that we are spreading the message that corruption is wrong and that’s the role that we are going to be bringing, and we also invite the members of the public if there are any incidents of corruption that you are aware of within state institutions please come forward so that we can look into these matters.”
