A Grade 10 learner has been stabbed to death at Tokelo Secondary School in Evaton, south of Johannesburg.
The 17-year-old was fatally stabbed allegedly by a 14-year-old Grade nine fellow learner.
It’s alleged the two pupils were fighting over a mobile phone.
The suspect has been arrested and police are investigating a case of murder.
Gauteng Education spokesperson, Steve Mabona says the Department has dispatched officials from the psychology unit to provide counseling for learners and teachers at the school.
