Police Minister, Bheki Cele has arrived at the scene where four trucks were torched by the local community.

The trucks were stopped in the early hours of this morning and then set alight. The community allege that foreign drivers are taking their jobs and women away from them.

The police have been deployed to the area and are searching for more suspects. Eyewitnesses say the community also stole goods from the truck which included liquor.

Minister Cele has assessed the damage caused and also visited the local police station.
