The streets around Coca-Cola stadium will be blocked all day today, said Johannesburg Metro police.

The streets include Sivewright road, Beit Street, Upper Railway, and Miller Street which are being blocked from 8am in anticipation of today's soccer match between the Kaiser Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, said Senior Superintendent Wayne Minnaar.

The street blockage will continue until 9pm today. "This [game will be a] showcase for our preparedness for the Confederations Cup in June," said Minnaar. - Sapa
