Freedom Front Plus leader and Deputy Agriculture Minister Pieter Mulder has laid a charge of intimidation against African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema. Malema is facing a barrage of complaints over his latest racial outburst after leading University of Johannesburg (UJ) students in a struggle song which, Mulder says, incited violence against white farmers.
Mulder laid the charge at the Brooklyn police station in Pretoria.
AfriForum will submit a complaint to the Equality Court in Johannesburg today. "He's working people against each other and it's the interest of everyone in South Africa to stop this now. We had a complaint in the past - In the end we succeeded at the Human Rights Committee which declared it as hate speech. AfriForum Youth chair Ernst Roets says the organisation will submit a complaint to the Equality Court in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, the ANC says it will engage the League regarding Malema's comments at UJ. Spokesperson Ishmael Mnisi says they are in constant contact with the youth league and will continue talking to them, even in this instance. However, he has emphasised that the ruling party has taken no decision on the particular matter. Mnisi says the ANC does not promote racist utterances.
You know I dont have any problem with the ANC, but please ANC leaders especially Fikile Mbalula, teach this guy some respect,he is a leader of our youth, what example he is to them if he just speak without thinking, please guys do something before it's too late. I think his parents must also call him and teach him how to speak with other people, old and young. We never had a situation like this in Mbalula's time. I never ever heard him talking about youth issues but only criticizing other people. Please guy do the job you we appointed for.

the ANCYL leader has the right to free speech and the right to sing songs of our struggle, the struggle of the African people is not over, our land is still illegally held, our mines still illegally held, the struggle is not over.
Until the people get what is theirs back, the struggle won't be over, the struggle song is a legetimate reolutionary song of the struggle of the African people and no Freedom front can stop that.
Threat against the right of the African people to sing songs that brought freedom will meet a crushing response. This is not apartheid anymore; pink "white" man won't stop brown "black" man from his freedom this time.

I cannot believe that this man gets away with murder-and yes I mean murder.I am sure that after his discriminative and racist remarks against white farmers, the amount of farm murders will increase and he will be directly responsible. The ANC should be ashamed to have Malema even remotely connected to them. I loved Madiba, but this man is ruining the ANC's image in SA among hopefulls and especially internationally. And no Malema, it's not a racist attack on you (like you think everything is) - it's a matter of respect for your fellow countryman. In all my life, I have never met someone as racist as Julius Malema. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

We all want racism and discrimination to come to an end,so whatever issues in parliament between anc and da as well as other parties shouldn't involve the public. They're fighting for their own dirty purpose,so Julius should never ever involve students in this struggle of him. Yes we as students want better education and so forth. Frm a vut student.

I'm just wondering, what does Madiba think of this twit?
