Greyling family thanks public for prayers and support March 11 2010 , 12:41:00

The family of Nick Greyling, the man who was kidnapped in Nigeria and released this week, has released a statement thanking the public for their prayers and support. They say they received an overwhelming amount of messages from friends, family and strangers. Greyling arrived back in South Africa yesterday.

There was an outpouring of concern for the sound engineer ever since news broke that he'd been kidnapped in Nigeria. The entire country was relieved when he was finally released after a week long hostage drama.

Nick and his wife Lorna have released a statement thanking God that they are together again, friends and family for supporting them and thanking those who secured his release.
