| Swaziland Prime Minister warns of torture for dissidents |

| Swaziland's hardline royalist Prime Minister Barnabas Dlamini said his government will consider punishing political dissidents by beating their feet with spikes, state media reported today. Dlamini said the government could also use the foot whipping, known locally as "sipakatane", against foreigners who interfere in the affairs of Africa's last absolute monarchy.
