Mantashe says there is no rift in the alliance
|
March 15, 2008, 11:15
ANC Secetary-General Gwede Mantashe has denied that the sacking of Willie Madisha as Coastu president has deepened the rift in the Tripartite alliance.
He was the main speaker at a seminar in Cape Town, where the future of the ANC and its alliance partners was discussed. Madisha was fired by Cosatu over the disputed
R500 000 donation to the SACP, from businessman Charles Modise. Mantashe says there is no rift in the alliance.
