The African People's Congress (APC) has announced its national leadership in Bloemfontein. The Presidential seat has been given to former deputy president of the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) Themba Godi.
His deputy will be the former PAC member of parliament, Mofihli Likotsi. The National Chairperson of the party is Mkabile Zingisa. Godi says the party will hold it's first central committee meeting in the next two weeks, where the party will map out plans for 2009.
"Before the end of the year we will be having the national conference so that we could agree on the road map leading up to 2009. The rest of the other administrative matters that are in progress the secretariat would be engaging with to ensure that it's all systems go," says Godi.
