A: There could be a number of
reasons for this:

Western Cape and 28 December for
all other provinces.
- Your results may not have
been release to the media for a number of reasons:
a) Entering less than 6 subjects
b) One or more question paper outstanding due to late grade
changes, paper/s not marked, CASS, oral or practical marks not
submitted, etc.
c) A suspected irregularity
d) A late entry on an immigrant who has not reached the
deadlines and/or requirements laid out by the Department
e)
May not have achieved a pass at the time of publication.
f)
A possible technical error.
Q: I pre-registered to
receive my results via SMS and I have not yet received my results
A: All available results will be
sent out on within 4 hours of the release time. If your results are not
available, you will receive an SMS within 8 hours of the results being
released informing you of this. (See Question above for possible
reasons.)
Q: I got a message saying “we
are experiencing technical difficulties”
A: This can happen due to
pressure on the services. We can take your exam and/or ID number and
mobile number and SMS your results to you.
Q: My exam number has a
letter (A,B,C etc) in front of it. How do I enter this?
A: You can use your exam number
without that letter and receive your results.
Q: Not all of my subject
played on the line. I did not get the correct subjects
A: Marketel is dependant on SITA
for the release of results and you may on have received subjects in
which you received distinctions or merits. We can take your exam
and/or ID number and mobile number and SMS your results to you.
