No!
Sean Jonker - Monday 17 March 2008

To the question that is asked in the topic, I answer no. I think the media can really help this situation by placing pressure on Eskom to perform and stop making lame excuses. I heard that the recent load shedding is because of the coal getting wet. If my memory serves me right, I heard that excuse a long time ago. So what this is telling me is that Eskom let the coal get wet again! What I didn't hear was clear mentioning of this fact that the coal is wet again. We really need the media to clearly point out the flaws in the excuses, really put the same to the top officials. I am seeing this on a daily basis. Top officials in this country has no shame anymore and the media is really letting them get that way. News rooms should jump and be ruthless when top officials step out of line. They should feel the humiliation and perhaps then they will stop thinking about them selfs. After all who keeps an eye on them?
