| So WHO is to Blame (The Police) and the Minister
"It is a standard practice all over the world that a political head should accept full responsibility when his department fails dismally -
this even happens in non-democratic countries like China," civil rights group AfriForum said.
It was responding to statistics, which showed that while a number of crimes had decreased, murder had increased by 2,4 percent
and aggravated robbery by 4,6 percent.
'Ndlovu also called for increased visible policing'
Afriforum also lamented that the number of bank robberies had increased by 118 percent, robberies at business premises by 52,5
percent, robberies of homes by 25,4 percent and that cash-in-transit heists were up 21,9 percent.
Police statistician Dr Chris de Kock noted, however, that the 118 percent increase in bank robberies, in real terms, meant that the number of incidents had increased from 59 to 129 during the course of the last financial year.
What do we have to do fire, the entire Police Force and put the Army in Charge There is no other solution. Let them shoot to kill and we won't have to worry about hanging them and the Constitution |
