| I know it is after the fact, but I'd like to add my little bit to the issue.
Although I've never been an Mbeki fan, he's let even me down this time! I think he's too busy trying live up (upstage) his predecessor's image through his "peace and concilliation missions" in Africa and the rest of the world, that he has completely lost contact with the place that should concern him most: RSA and its electricity, crime, corruption, police, service delivery, health, etc., problems!
Thabo could have been known as the leader that didn't need emotions to lead his nation (eg. Nelson after the 1994 elections elation) - but he will go down in obsurity as a nobody when Zuma takes over! What a waste of opportunity! |
