Consultant to the Lesotho government, Sehoai Santho, says election-related conflicts cannot be effectively managed in the absence of a culture of tolerance. He was speaking at a congress on Lesotho's 2007 general election conflicts in the capital, Maseru.
Santho says the aim of the congress is to resolve Lesotho's 2007 post election conflicts and put in place strategies for managing future election-related conflicts.
The former president of Mauritius, Cassam Uteem, opened the congress.
